Inner Unity of Faith
Ephesians 4:13-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ephesians 4 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses urge believers to mature into a unified consciousness, recognizing the Christ within as the measure of true growth. They warn against being tossed by every new doctrine and invite steady, loving truth that builds the inner self.
Neville's Inner Vision
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ, is fulfilled within your inner state. Unity of faith is the alignment of your whole consciousness with the Son of God already present as your I AM. The winds of doctrine and the sly tricks of the world are internal currents that you dissolve by acknowledging you are one Life, one Body, one Christ within. To speak the truth in love becomes consistent self-communication that confirms the inner fact: I am one with Christ, I am the fullness of Him. As each inner joint—thought, feeling, imagination—contributes, the mind coheres and edifies itself in love. Growth is not a pursuit in time but a rise in consciousness; your life expands as you rest in the truth of your oneness, becoming the measure of Christ’s stature in daily experience.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, assume the inner state of oneness with Christ—‘I and the Father are one’—and feel your entire mind-body joined and edifying itself in love as the true you.
