Inner Heirs Of One Body

Ephesians 3:5-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ephesians 3 in context

Scripture Focus

5Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
Ephesians 3:5-6

Biblical Context

The passage reveals that what was hidden before is now revealed: outsiders (Gentiles) are included as full heirs and members of the same body through the gospel.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Paul’s words, you turn inward: there is no longer a distant covenant kept by others; the Spirit discloses a now-available inheritance to every part of your self. The Gentiles are not foreigners to the divine plan but symbols for any part of your psyche previously deemed outside or less favored. The 'fellow heirs' and 'the same body' speak of a unity of your entire consciousness—a single circumference in which every attribute, every impulse, and every experience belongs. The gospel is not a map outside you but a claim you make upon your own awareness: you are included, you are the body, you share the promise, here and now, because spirit operates where you awaken to awareness itself. When you stop seeking salvation elsewhere and begin imagining yourself as already possessing the promised union, you stir the current of unity. Your imagination is the Spirit; your feeling is the revelation; your acceptance seals the covenant within.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already United with all through Christ within your own consciousness; feel it real for a minute by repeating \"I am one body\" and \"we share the promise\" until it hums in your chest.
