Temple Within, Unity of Awareness
Ephesians 2:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Think of all parts of your being as a living building that, properly joined in awareness, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. The passage emphasizes unity achieved through Christ-life as the unifying center of consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, the building is not stone but states of consciousness, and the 'fitly framed' join as you discipline your imagination and feeling to the same divine center. 'In whom' names the one Awareness in whom you exist: the I AM that you are. As you dwell in that awareness, your faculties—memory, love, desire, intention—are aligned, brick by brick, until your life becomes a temple consecrated to the Lord. This temple is not elsewhere; it is your present inner atmosphere. The world of separation dissolves as you keep faith with the truth that you and God are one, that unity is the natural order of consciousness, and holiness is the obvious state you live from. Every thought and act then contributes to the majesty of this sanctuary, and the Presence of God becomes the air you breathe.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes now and imagine yourself as the temple in which the Lord dwells. Silently declare, 'I am the temple fitly framed together in the Lord,' and feel the sense of unity spreading through your being.
