Read Ephesians 2 in context

Scripture Focus

20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Ephesians 2:20-21

Biblical Context

Believers are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus the chief cornerstone. Together they grow into a holy temple in the Lord.

Neville's Inner Vision

Where you stand in consciousness is the building you will behold. The apostolic and prophetic functions are your faculties in activity; Jesus Christ, the I AM within, is the chief cornerstone holding the whole structure upright. When you acknowledge Christ as the center of awareness, every part of your inner life is fitly framed to cooperate, and the separate rooms of thought and feeling become one temple. The building belongs not to a distant deity but to your own inner sanctuary where Presence dwells. Holiness arises not from external rites but from the steady alignment of your mind with that living awareness. As you dwell in this inner temple, you feel the unity of all parts - desire, discernment, memory, imagination - working together under the same roof. The sense of I expands beyond isolation into a community of God aware beings, a holy temple in the Lord where Presence is felt and known.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are the foundation and cornerstone of a temple within. Feel the I AM sustaining every brick as your faculties align to form one holy temple in the Lord.
