Inner Citizenship in God’s Household
Ephesians 2:19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
This verse declares you are no longer strangers but fellow citizens with the saints; you are members of the household of God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of this verse as a statement of your true state. You are not outside looking in; you are inside, a resident in the inner city, a fellow citizen with the saints in the house of God—the I AM you already know when you turn your attention inward. The 'saints' are not separate beings but the enlightened patterns of consciousness that dwell in you, and 'the household of God' is your current field of awareness. When you claim this, you refuse to let fear, lack, or division govern your experience. Your mind shifts from seeking approval to affirming belonging, from separation to unity, and the outward world mirrors the new administration of consciousness. The appearance of distance softens as you realize all borders exist only in thought; you are integrated into a single household where every member is your own I AM. Practice restores this truth: acknowledge you belong now, and let the feeling of citizenship color every choice, relationship, and sensation. Imagination, rightly used, makes this real—rest in the inner kingdom and watch your life align.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of true citizenship now: say 'I am a citizen of the divine household.' Revise any sense of being an outsider until the feeling is real in your chest.
