Ephesians 2:15

Biblical Context

Ephesians 2:15 speaks of abolishing enmity and the old outward law by uniting two into one new humanity, creating peace.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner theatre, the sense of enmity is not against others but against a divided self. The flesh spoken of is your inner awareness, the state you inhabit. By this verse you are invited to revise the external 'law of commandments contained in ordinances' as a mere outward image, not a binding reality. When you truly grasp that the two opposing elements—past judgments and present vision—are dissolved into one consciousness, a new man arises. This is not a future event but a present act of imagination: you become the one who embodies both sides in harmony, and peace becomes the natural atmosphere of your life. The so-called Jew and Gentile, or any opposing viewpoints within you, are reconciled not by rules but by assuming the consciousness of unity. The I AM, your true awareness, is the author of this fusion; through it, separation yields to a perpetual peace that flows from within your own being.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume you are already the I AM, the one Life that unites the two. Rest in the felt sense of unity until the perception of separation dissolves and peace becomes your natural state.
