Scripture Focus

14For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Ephesians 2:14

Biblical Context

Ephesians 2:14 declares that Christ is our peace, uniting what had been divided and breaking down the barrier between groups. In Neville's view, the verse points to the inner walls we carry and the oneness we can awaken in consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Take this verse as a map of your inner world. Christ is not a distant event but the living peace of your I AM, the awareness that you are complete, now. The 'middle wall of partition' stands as every belief you hold that you are separate from another, or that harmony must be earned. When you assume the feeling of the same I AM in every encounter, you dissolve the illusion of division. Make both 'ones'— Jew and Gentile, neighbor and stranger, the self that fears and the self that loves— into a single, intimate consciousness. The moment you treat all life as expression of the same one, you are living the verse. Your inner state moves ahead of circumstance; the outer world follows as the echo of your inner conviction. Imagination creates reality; therefore, imagine unity, and feel it as already real now, not later. In that felt presence, you awaken the peace that unites every part of you and every person you meet.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the wall between you and another dissolving. Feel the unity of I AM within, and rest in the certainty that you and all are one.
