13But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Ephesians 2:13

Biblical Context

The verse declares that those once far off are now made near through the blood of Christ.

Neville's Inner Vision

In truth, distance is a state of consciousness, not a place. The phrase 'the blood of Christ' signals the cleansing awareness that you are already reconciled to God, not by outward works but by the I AM within. In Christ Jesus you exist in the present moment, and you discover you are not excluded from the divine circle; you are the I AM in whom God dwells. The blood represents the washing away of the old self — the identification with lack, fear, and separation. When you acknowledge this inner fact, the sense of distance collapses and you are drawn near to the Father, here and now. This is salvation and grace: a shift of consciousness from exile to homecoming, from separation to unity with the one Life. Do not seek a distant place; revise your inner sense of self until you realize you are already in Christ, and Christ is already in you.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and assume the reality: I am near to God, I am in Christ. Breathe long and slow, letting the feeling of separation fade as you dwell in the one Life that is within you.
