Inner Inclusion Awakening

Ephesians 2:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ephesians 2 in context

Scripture Focus

12That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Ephesians 2:12

Biblical Context

That verse describes a past condition of separation from the spiritual community and its promises. It points to a change available through alignment with Christ.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember, in this view the 'aliens' are states of consciousness, not people in a distant land. To be 'without Christ' is to be unaware of your true unity with the I AM, the living God within. The 'commonwealth of Israel' becomes your inner community of loyalties—covenants you can claim by choosing anew. When you hear 'without God in the world,' hear it as a habitual belief of separation that you can revise. Now, make a deliberate supposition: you are already included in the promises, already where you long to be, and from that assumption let your feeling of being part of God rise. In this way, the inner movements shift from lack to abundance; your imagination becomes the altar on which reality is formed. The outer world then follows as you persist in the state you have assumed, until a new sense of belonging replaces the old alienation.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, rest in the I AM, and actively revise the sense of separation by affirming 'I am included in the promises now.' Then dwell in that feeling until it seems real.
