1And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
Ephesians 2:1

Biblical Context

This verse states you were spiritually dead in trespasses and sins, but God has quickened you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, this verse is not about an external rescue, but a turning of your own mind. You were dead in trespasses and sins—dead to the conviction of your own I AM. The quickening is the shift in your consciousness, a waking of the one life within you. When you accept that you are the I AM, consciousness itself, the sense of separation dissolves. Grace is your immediate, intimate realization that you are alive now, not in some distant future; forgiveness arises as you cease identifying with the old stories and identify with the living presence you are. The deadness cannot prevail where the Light of I AM shines; the trespasses are seen as nothing more than thoughts passing through the screen of awareness. This awakening is not a change of circumstances but a change in you, here and now, where gratitude, forgiveness, and compassionate action flower as expressions of your awakened nature. You walk in grace because you are the life that was always there, merely veiled by belief.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Assume 'I AM alive and quickened now' and feel that life entering your chest for a few minutes, letting the old sense of separation dissolve.
