Unity In Christ Now

Ephesians 1:9-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ephesians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
Ephesians 1:9-10

Biblical Context

Paul explains that God reveals his secret will and purpose. At the fullness of time, all things will be gathered together in Christ, in heaven and on earth.

Neville's Inner Vision

I have learned that the mystery spoken here is not a distant plan but a revelation of your own I AM. God’s will is the steady affection of consciousness you hold toward itself, a purpose purposed in the divine you, which unfolds as you keep your mind turned to the one Christ within. When the verse speaks of the fullness of times gathering all things in Christ, it is describing your inward moment when heaven and earth meet as one in your awareness. Everything you call separate—your thoughts, your body, your world—are drawn into harmonious unity in the one you identify as Christ. The 'dispensation' is simply the right season of realization in which your attention remains fixed on the I AM, and all things naturally line up in answer to that inner focus. In this state you are not seeking unity; you are being the unity already.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: close your eyes and declare, 'I am One in Christ.' Then hold the sense of unity for a minute, letting harmony unfold.
