Unveiling the Inner Will

Ephesians 1:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ephesians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Ephesians 1:9

Biblical Context

The verse reveals that God has disclosed the mystery of his will, arising from his own intent; it invites us to align our inner life with that divine purpose.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this verse the mystery of the will is not a distant riddle but a present fact of consciousness. The will is God’s, and that will is your I AM-aware intention, revealed to you as you rest in the knowledge of who you are. The phrase 'according to his good pleasure' signals that this discovery arises from within the pageant of your own inner joy, not from external striving. 'Purposed in himself' means the plan resides in your inner self, where intention forms before it incarnates. When you sit quietly and imagine, you are listening to that inner purpose speaking through your imagination. Your task is to align with it: presume the end is already yours, revise any doubt, and feel the certainty that the inner knowing has already accomplished it. As you dwell as the awareness that knows, the outer world rearranges to mirror your inner state. The Father reveals his plan through your own I AM; trust this inward revelation, and you will witness the mystery becoming manifest in your life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare: I am the I AM, aware of God's will revealing itself as my own life. Assume this end state now and feel it real, letting your inner image settle into being.
