Read Ephesians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Ephesians 1:3-7

Biblical Context

Ephesians 1:3-7 states that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ, choosing us in Him, and predestining us for adoption, with redemption and forgiveness through grace.

Neville's Inner Vision

Understand this not as a future list to obtain, but as a description of your present inner state. 'Blessed be the God and Father' becomes your realization that you are blessed in the I AM—your awareness, not a distant event. The 'heavenly places in Christ' are inner rooms of consciousness where your imagination dwells in harmony with truth. Being chosen in Him before the foundation is your present alignment with the divine flow; you wake to the fact that your identity is already established in the divine plan. To be holy and without blame 'before him in love' is your present capacity to see yourself through the lens of love and grace. Predestinated to the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself signals that your relation to God is fixed in the beloved; there is nothing to earn, only to realize. Redemption through His blood and forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of grace, are the inner resources poured into awareness when you refuse to identify with lack. You are accepted in the Beloved—let that acceptance govern your self-image now.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling 'I am blessed in Christ now.' Dwell there until the sense of grace, adoption, and forgiveness fills your consciousness.
