Ephesians 1:19-20

Biblical Context

The passage presents God's mighty power aimed at believers, shown in Christ's resurrection and exaltation, and made available to us.

Neville's Inner Vision

To me, this scripture reveals that the exceeding greatness of power is not distant drama but the living activity of consciousness within you. Belief is the key that turns this power on; when you acknowledge it, you participate in the very working of God's power. Christ’s resurrection is your inner birth—the old, limited self dies, and you are raised in mind to a new life. The phrase 'set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places' points to your mind enshrined in the throne of awareness—the I AM you really are. The power operates through imagination, belief, and the feel of the wish fulfilled; your job is to revise every image of lack into an image of sufficiency and sovereignty. Do not seek power outside; enter the quiet conviction that you are one with divine activity. As you dwell in that light, events in your outer life will reflect the ascension you have already imagined.

Practice This Now

Practice: close your eyes, picture yourself already raised and seated at the right hand of God, and feel the I AM presence as your own; revise any scene of limitation by affirming 'I am power, I am worthy, I am in control.'
