Ephesians 1:15-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ephesians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

15Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
Ephesians 1:15-16

Biblical Context

Paul commends your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, and continually gives thanks while mentioning you in prayer.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for the saints are not mere outward traits but inner states of consciousness you awaken. When Paul says "after I heard of your faith... and love," he points to awareness recognizing itself in relationship. "Cease not to give thanks for you" becomes the practice of holding a grateful state of mind, while "making mention of you in my prayers" is the discipline of naming others in your inner dialogue with the I AM. In Neville's psychology, intercession is not about changing God but about conditioning your own consciousness to furnish the conditions of your desired reality. By repeatedly acknowledging the truth of others’ faith and love in your inner room, you invite those qualities to become present within you and around you. So cultivate a steady stream of gratitude and inner blessing, and speak their name to the I AM as though what you seek for them is already established. Through such imaginative work, you align mind with divine possibility and brighten your world.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and feel gratitude for someone's faith and love, then imagine yourself mentioning them in your inner prayer to the I AM, as if their blessing is already true.
