Seal of Spirit, Inner Inheritance

Ephesians 1:13-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ephesians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 1:13-14

Biblical Context

Believers hear the truth, trust it, and are sealed with the Holy Spirit, the down payment of their inheritance until redemption.

Neville's Inner Vision

Listen: this is present reality, not distant hope. The word you heard awakens trust that you now belong to the I AM. The sealing of the Spirit is not a distant clause; it is the inner assurance you feel here now, the down payment that says you are owned by Truth. The earnest of inheritance means your consciousness carries the promise—the certainty that the redeemed state already lives in you, ready to express itself fully. The purchased possession is your being reclaimed from forgetfulness through imagination. When you imagine yourself as God’s expression, you activate the seal and begin redeeming form by awareness, not by time. So revise lack with this feeling: I am sealed; I am possessed by the Spirit; I am the inheritance arriving in fullness under God’s glory.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and declare, I am sealed by the Spirit now. Feel that inner certainty as a warm seal on my being and let it govern present choices.
