Inner Feast of Acceptance
Ecclesiastes 9:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse invites you to live in daily delight—eat, drink, and be merry—knowing that your ordinary works are accepted by God. It points to the inner conviction that provision and worth arise from the I AM within.
Neville's Inner Vision
Go thy way into the consciousness that feeds you. 'Eat thy bread with joy' is not hunger, but the decision to dwell in gratitude and expectancy. When you claim that every morsel and every moment is sufficiency, you align your inner weather with the day that awaits you. The phrase 'for God now accepteth thy works' is a present-tense assertion of the I AM within: your inner governor has already approved your activity, and your outward world follows that inner decree. Thus labor becomes invitation rather than burden, and Providence moves through your decisions as light through glass. Joy is not an achievement to be chased; it is the atmosphere in which you perform. If you live in that atmosphere, the outer scenes bow to your inner posture, and your daily bread appears as grace arising from consciousness. Your life becomes a continuous feast because you have chosen to believe that the divine presence approves your every endeavor.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of abundance now. Eat and drink with a merry heart, knowing the I AM has already accepted your works.
