Read Ecclesiastes 9 in context

Scripture Focus

10Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
Ecclesiastes 9:10

Biblical Context

Plainly, the verse tells you to put your full energy into whatever you undertake now. It warns that the grave holds no work, so motion cannot wait.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the spiritual reading, 'whatsoever thy hand findeth to do' is not a call to labor only with the body, but to awaken to the state of the I AM that is always doing through you. The grave is the belief that consciousness ends; therefore seek not for more devices in the future, but awaken in the present to the power of imagination. When you find yourself drawn to a task, imagine you have already completed it with vigor; feel the exhilaration as if your inner kingdom is alive and active. You are not directing material events by force alone, but by assuming the state that precedes them: that you are the doer, that your mind is the workshop, and your heart is loyal to the end. The moment you revise your assumption from limitation to abundance, your inner weather shifts; the outer becomes a mirror of your inner conviction. So take hold of your day now, and dwell in the feeling that you are the one who commands with might, here and now, as the I AM within you animates every action.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and, in a single image, imagine you are already completing your current task with energy and mastery; repeat 'I am the doer' and feel it real in your chest as you begin again.
