Ecclesiastes 7:18-19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ecclesiastes 7 in context

Scripture Focus

18It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.
19Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city.
Ecclesiastes 7:18-19

Biblical Context

The passage urges clinging to this truth and not letting go; those who fear God will come forth from all troubles, and wisdom strengthens the wise more than external force.

Neville's Inner Vision

Fear of God is the steadfast awareness that you are the I AM, the ground and power of your life. To take hold and not withdraw your hand is to hold a state of consciousness steady, until the imagined end stands in place. The one who fears God emerges from all seeming difficulties because his allegiance to divine principle dissolves limitation. Wisdom here is inner discernment—the felt presence of the end you seek—giving power far greater than ten mighty men. When you live from that inner end, external conditions bend to your decree; you are strengthened by a wisdom that cannot fail. The verse invites you to maintain this inner stance until the outer world confirms your inner truth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place a hand on your heart, and declare I am the I AM; hold that feeling and imagine you are already through every obstacle, strengthened by divine wisdom.
