Inner Balance of Prosperity
Ecclesiastes 7:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Joy in prosperity, contemplation in adversity, are both invitations from your inner order. The text suggests that the outer contrasts exist to awaken you to the I AM as sole source.
Neville's Inner Vision
Ecclesiastes presents prosperity and adversity as two states of your consciousness. God, the I AM, has placed them opposite each other not to punish but to force inward recognition of the true cause of all you experience. Prosperity is the felt state of fullness, gratitude, and confident expectancy; adversity is the felt state of contrast that reveals what you have not yet assumed about yourself. You are the awareness that experiences both; you are not the events. Imagination creates reality; by shifting your assumption you rewrite the outer scenes. In prosperity, rest in the truth that you are the I AM—complete and supported by the inner fountain. In adversity, resist not, but assume the sense that the inner self guides you to new expression; revise lack into potential, and watch circumstances respond. The two poles exist to drive you inward until nothing remains to be desired except the self-conceived divine life within.
Practice This Now
Tonight, close your eyes and declare, 'I am the I AM, prospering in all things.' Feel the joy of abundance as if it is your present reality, and let this feeling settle into your chest.
