Past to Present: Inner Wisdom's Wealth

Ecclesiastes 7:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ecclesiastes 7 in context

Scripture Focus

10Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
11Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun.
Ecclesiastes 7:10-11

Biblical Context

Do not pine for the former days; the verse says you do not inquire wisely about them. Wisdom is good with an inheritance, and by it there is profit to those who see the sun.

Neville's Inner Vision

You are not looking at life; you are looking at your states of consciousness. The former days are memories; the present is a field of awareness in which wisdom, joined with an inner inheritance, yields tangible results. When you see the sun—the light of consciousness—you understand that wisdom is not separate from your daily experience but its moving force. If you demand external change to prove your worth, you deny the creative I AM within. Instead, assume that wisdom's fruits are already yours now: clear discernment, secure provision, faithful alignment. By living from that state, nostalgia loses its appeal and the world enters you as you yield to the truth that you are the I AM, imagining and realizing through inner perception.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise the question: The now is blessed; I walk in wisdom and abundance. Feel this inner state as real in my body and life.
