Scripture Focus

1Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Ecclesiastes 12:1

Biblical Context

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before difficult times and advancing years dull your joy.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember now thy Creator is a call to consciousness. Your Creator is the I AM within, the awareness you name as God, yet God is a state of being, not a distant person. When you read 'in the days of thy youth,' receive it as the condition of mind that is teachable, open, and imaginative. The 'evil days' symbolize the mental weather of fear, doubt, and weariness that arise when you forget your Source. They come not with years but with your absence of faith in your own inner creation. If you would not live in bitterness you must return to your Creator and assume the state of already being united with Him. Say quietly, I am that I AM; I live, move, and have my being in the Creator. As you dwell in this assumption, the inner scenery shifts, and joy becomes your natural mood. You revise the scene by feeling it real now, not later, and your outer world bends to the new inner conviction.

Practice This Now

Assume the state: I am the I AM; feel the inner light as a fountain of youth. Then close your eyes and imagine living the day from this inner awareness, letting pleasure and vitality fill the moment.
