The Hidden Works Within

Ecclesiastes 11:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ecclesiastes 11 in context

Scripture Focus

5As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
Ecclesiastes 11:5

Biblical Context

It says we cannot know the mysterious path of Spirit or how life grows. Nor can we fully know the works of God who makes all.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of this verse as a reminder that the truth you seek is not found in outward events but in your own state of consciousness. The way of the Spirit cannot be mapped by numbers or formulas; it moves inside your awareness. When Ecclesiastes says you know not the works of God who maketh all, hear it as an invitation: you have not yet recognized the power you possess to conceive and bring forth. The bones grow because you imagine their growth in the womb of your attention; the world turns because you decide the turn within. Therefore, stop chasing facts outside and begin to assume the end you desire. Do so by dwelling in the end, revising any lack as if it already exists, and feeling it real in the present. The inner creativity is the driver of all phenomena; God’s works reveal themselves as you persist in the good you imagine. Your task is to align your inner state with the reality you wish to see, trusting that the I AM within is always drawing forth life from imagination.

Practice This Now

Take a present-tense assumption of your desired outcome and feel it real now; repeat morning and night until it settles into your awareness.
