Read Deuteronomy 9 in context

Scripture Focus

10And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.
Deuteronomy 9:10

Biblical Context

God delivered two stone tablets to Moses, inscribed with His words, written as the people gathered at the mountain. They were written by the finger of God in the presence of the assembly.

Neville's Inner Vision

Two tables are two fixed states of consciousness you carry within. The 'finger of God' that writes on them is the touch of awareness by which your I AM impresses truth upon your being. The mount, the fire, and the day of assembly are inner scenes: the call of desire, the heat of attention, the gathering of thoughts into one living pattern. The words spoken at Sinai become your inward covenant when you accept them as already true in you. Obedience and faithfulness are not outward rules but your steady alignment of feeling with perception—staying loyal to the inner command until outer life follows. When you dwell in the consciousness that the words are present now, your life rearranges to reflect that inner script. The presence of God is the ongoing awareness that you are the I AM, writing the law within. The moment you revise your inner state—assume the reality of your desire—you stamp the stone anew and your world bears the mark of that covenant. Your imagined decree becomes your future fact, and the outer truth echoes the inner.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and picture two inner tables; write your desire on them as though it is already true, with the finger of awareness. Then feel that truth saturate your being until you know it as fact in this moment.
