Inner Election by Love

Deuteronomy 7:7-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 7 in context

Scripture Focus

7The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
8But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 7:7-8

Biblical Context

God did not choose you for your numbers, but out of love and faithfulness to the covenant; He delivered you from bondage by a mighty hand.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner sight this verse proclaims that I am not chosen by numbers but by a state of consciousness—the I AM. The fewest among nations show that outward measures cannot claim love; love is the divine posture of my being. The oath spoken to the fathers is the memory of my own covenant with the I AM, and by keeping it I am brought out with a mighty hand from the bondage of limitation. Redeemed here means I am freed from fear, lack, and old identities. The mighty hand is the power of imagination acting within me; it lifts me from the house of bondage into the liberty of awareness. I am loved because I exist as the I AM; the choosing is the choosing of my inner state, not a verdict of circumstance. As I rest in that truth, the exodus occurs in my life—habits, thoughts, and senses rearrange to express deliverance and salvation. This is the inner kingdom, already given to me by the I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, declare I am the beloved of the I AM, chosen by love. Then feel the lift of inner bondage dissolving as you imagine a mighty hand drawing you into liberty.
