Inner Hornet, Outer Victory
Deuteronomy 7:20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Deuteronomy 7 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God will send a hornet to drive out the remaining enemies who hide from you. This is a picture of divine action clearing the way so you may claim the promised space.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the theater of your mind, the hornet is not a bug but a movement of consciousness—an inner wind driving out a self that clings to separation. The Lord thy God is the I AM you awaken to, the awareness that permits nothing incongruent with its reality to remain. When you resist, you feed old identities—fear, lack, limitation—and the hornet of attention wakes these up, forcing them into view until they dissolve. This is inner warfare, not external judgment: the hornet comes to purge the stubborn beliefs that now shield the true state. As you assume the I AM as your sole reality, these remnants are drawn into the light and dissolved by the very life you call forth. The dream of separation yields to the immediacy of consciousness, and you enter the space where all things are possible because you know you are the I AM.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the state 'I AM' as your only reality; revise a current limitation by silently stating, 'I AM that I AM' and feel it real.
