Read Deuteronomy 7 in context

Scripture Focus

2And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
Deuteronomy 7:2

Biblical Context

God will deliver the enemies before you, and you are to utterly destroy them, making no covenant with them and showing no mercy.

Neville's Inner Vision

This verse speaks not of outward conquest but of inner mastery. The enemies are states of consciousness you have identified as real. When the Lord thy God delivers them before thee, this reveals inner awareness that these fearful attitudes and lack beliefs stand ready to be dissolved. To smite them is to awaken and dissolve their hold by refusing to accept them as you. Utterly destroy them means to disidentify and discard the habitual thoughts that feed the sense of separation. Do not covenant with them or show mercy to them, means do not grant a place in your mind to these states again; there is no negotiation with fear or limitation. Your obedience is to the I AM within, the God in you, the stillness that animates every form. The covenant loyalty is toward that inner I that never fails, and the accountability is the consequences of imagining and feeling. When you align with the inner king, your outer world reflects a new order, where limitation dissolves and life flows as a pure act of consciousness and imagination creating reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the I AM is delivering every limitation before you. Feel the old fears dissolving and the mind becoming clear, with no covenant to them and no mercy to lack, until the new state feels real.
