Inner Conquest Of The Land
Deuteronomy 7:1-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God brings you into a land and defeats the nations before you; you must destroy their idols and avoid covenants with them, for you are holy and chosen, not by number but by your state of consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Deuteronomy 7:1-7 as a map of your inner kingdom. The land you are brought into is your present state of consciousness, larger than any old limitation. The surrounding nations are habitual thoughts and fears—patterns you have believed would defeat you. To 'smite them' and destroy their idols is to revise and release every belief that keeps you from the I AM’s rule. Do not covenant with those deities, do not give your daughter to their son, for these are allegiances to thoughts that would lure you away from the One. Holiness is your nature—God’s chosen state—an condition of awareness that you already are, not something earned by numbers. The Lord’s love is not born of outward strength, but of alignment with the I AM. You were chosen because your inner light is ready to take possession, regardless of how few you seem in the eyes of the world. Embrace the separation from old loyalties, and watch your life reflect the sovereignty of your inner God-consciousness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume the feeling, 'I am the holy and chosen I AM.' See the inner land clearing—altars topple, idols burn away—then feel the space within you expand as if you now possess the land itself.
