Love, in this sense, is not a feeling you chase, but the very atmosphere you inhabit. Your heart represents the imaginative faculty—what you fervently visualize; your soul is the life of awareness that observes, and your might is the sustained energy of belief you invest. To obey is to assent to a truth you already are: you are loving God with all your faculties. As you practice, you do not serve a distant deity; you awaken to the fact that the one you call God is the I AM you. By assuming the reality of that love, you revise what seems present and draw it into alignment with your inner declaration. In Neville's terms, imagination creates reality: dwell in the state 'I love God with all my heart, soul, and might,' feel its truth, and let the world adjust to reflect that total devotion.
