Deuteronomy 34:9-10

Biblical Context

Joshua receives the spirit of wisdom through Moses' laying on of hands, and the children of Israel heed him and obey the LORD's commands; no prophet since Moses equals that intimate knowing of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold Joshua as the living state of wisdom waking within you, summoned by the inner laying on of hands of the I AM. Moses’ act is symbolic; within you, the old self yields to a new leadership and you begin to act in accord with that discernment. The 'people hearkened' refers to your world responding to the inner assumption you hold about who you are becoming. The line about there having been no prophet like Moses since is not a denial of history but a reminder that the intimate knowing of God is always accessible to the I AM when you choose to awaken it again. The inner transfer is your invitation to revise past limits by imagining you now stand clothed with Moses’ authority; your present self is being guided by the higher wisdom you have already assumed. Practice: assume Joshua's wisdom is fully present now; feel the certainty saturating your thoughts, and consent that your life follow that inner command with gentle obedience.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and affirm, 'I am Joshua’s wisdom now.' Feel that inner authority resting on you and let your next action reflect it.
