Deuteronomy 34:4-6

Biblical Context

Moses sees the land promised to the patriarchs, but God tells him he must not cross into it; Moses dies in Moab and his burial remains unknown.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your verse reveals that the vision of the promised land is given to Moses before the deed—in Neville's terms, the state is seen by the inner eye, not yet crossed in form. The land represents a realized state of consciousness your I AM can behold. Moses, the servant, dies in Moab because the old self must disappear to yield a higher state. The burial in a valley signifies the hidden, interior letting go, while the unknown sepulcher signals that the details of the transition are kept in the mystery of Providence until you awaken to the new you. The command to see it with your eyes but not pass over points to the practice: cultivate the inner vision, let it stand in your awareness as if you already possess the land, and trust that God will guide you in the exact outer expression in due season. This is covenant loyalty: you remain faithful to the inner promise, beyond fear and beyond visible delay. Imagination creates your reality; you are the I AM making good on what was spoken.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, imagine the land as your inner room already possessed, and feel the I AM affirming, 'I am now there.' Let the old self fade in the brightness of the vision.
