Face to Face with the I AM
Deuteronomy 34:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses is presented as Israel's unparalleled prophet, uniquely known by God face to face. This verse highlights the intimate divine relationship that stands apart from all others.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this line, Moses is not simply a man of old; he is a state of consciousness in which the I AM stands face to face with itself. The phrase the LORD knew him face to face declares the inner knowing that occurs when awareness contemplates itself without distance. There has not arisen among Israel a prophet like Moses because Moses embodies a complete alignment of attention, belief, and feeling with the divine Presence. When you interpret this for yourself, you realize you can enter that same proximity by turning your attention inward and declaring I am the LORD knowing myself by face-to-face awareness. Visualize Moses writing your own name upon that table of the heart, so that the inner voice who speaks of promise and prophecy becomes your direct experience now, not only a memory. The absence of a later prophet signals that such immediacy is always available, whenever you shift from thought into the living presence of God within. Practice this by assuming you are already in company with the I AM, and let the feeling of intimate knowing replace any sense of distance.
Practice This Now
Practice: assume you are already in the company of the I AM and feel that intimate proximity until it seems real. Let that feeling linger for a few breaths.
