Ascend The Inner Mountain
Deuteronomy 33:19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Deuteronomy 33 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse calls the people to a high inner place, where right conduct is offered and abundant inner resources are drawn from the depths and from hidden riches.
Neville's Inner Vision
I speak now as the I AM within you: the mountain is your state of awareness you ascend in imagination; the call to the mountain is a decision to hold attention on that elevated self. The sacrifices of righteousness are not rites but right thoughts and feelings lived in consciousness—acts that align your inner voice with universal Law. When you 'suck of the abundance of the seas,' you are drawing from the ocean of infinite supply within your own being, nourished by the universal life that answers every faith-filled claim. The 'treasures hid in the sand' are the quiet beliefs and abilities buried beneath fear, habit, and doubt; you uncover them by turning attention from lack to the blessed possibility already present in your I AM. As you dwell in this elevated state and feel the truth of your desire as already yours, your inner world blesses you with manifestation. The mountain becomes your throne of sovereignty, and every sacrifice of righteousness seeds a life of abundance.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the feeling of your wish already fulfilled, ascend in inner imagination to the mountain, and offer the 'sacrifice' of right belief; then let abundance flow from the sea and the buried treasures rise into consciousness.
