Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses calls Joshua and they enter the tabernacle; the Lord appears in a pillar of cloud over the door, signaling Joshua's commissioning and the transition of leadership.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that this scene is not a historical event happening apart from you; it is an inner drama played out in your consciousness. The tabernacle is your mind’s sanctuary where your I AM meets the day’s call. The approaching end of Moses’ life signals the fading of an old identity, and Joshua’s arrival marks the birth of a new self ready to carry the mission of your life. The pillar of cloud that stands over the door is your awakened awareness, shading the threshold between the familiar self and the unknown service it must render. When you and your inner Joshua present yourselves in that inner sanctuary, you receive a charge, a vocation, a directive from the I AM that you already are. The appearance of God is not external; it is the moment your consciousness elevates, aligns, and commits. Your outer world will reflect this inner alignment as you live from the new self you have chosen in imagination, knowing that your true identity is always the one charged with purpose.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, step into the inner tabernacle, and imagine the cloud resting above its door as your awareness. Listen for the charge spoken to Joshua and silently repeat, 'I am the one charged,' until it feels real.
