Scripture Focus

3That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.
4If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
5And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
Deuteronomy 30:3-5

Biblical Context

Deuteronomy 30:3-5 speaks of God turning captivity, gathering the scattered people from all nations, and restoring them to the land of their inheritance. In Neville's terms, this gathering is a movement of consciousness back to a unified awareness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the Lord as the I AM within you, the conscious presence that turns away captivity by awareness, not by human effort alone. Exile is simply a mistaken alignment of your attention—fragments scattered by fear, doubt, or the belief in separation. When you say to yourself, 'God will gather me from all nations,' you are declaring a law of your own being: unity is returning to center. The land your fathers possessed becomes the acknowledged ground of your present awareness—the place where your desire and perception meet, and abundance naturally multiplies. The promise to 'bring thee into the land' is the re-entry into a state of perception, where you possess the feeling of being already blessed, already multiplied, already home. This is not a future event to beg for but a realization to assume. The act of God’s gathering is the inner revision of memory: you revise your story until your consciousness matches the state you seek. Your only task is to dwell as that healed, prosperous self, and the world will follow the inner pattern.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the scattered pieces of your life suddenly returning to one center; declare 'I am gathered and am in my land' with conviction, feeling it as real. Do this for a few minutes, allowing the belief to replace lack with abundance.
