The Word Within You
Deuteronomy 30:11-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
The commandment is not hidden or far away; the word is very near—within your mouth and heart—so you may hear it and do it now.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Moses' command, I answer: the law is not a distant code to fetch; it is a state of consciousness you already inhabit. The 'word' is not a distant syllable but a living decree formed in imagination and spoken from the I Am that you are. When you hear, you act; when you feel, you do. The 'heaven' and 'sea' images fall away because there is no outside law to obtain—the only law is your inner conviction that you already stand in the commandment. The verse is telling you that the commandment is not a discovery but a remembered assumption. If you permit it, the word pours into your breath and becomes your next action; every thought and feeling that aligns with the desired state is the generation of its form. Your mouth and heart are the two gates through which the law is spoken into the world. Therefore, rest in the I Am that speaks within you, and revise any sense of distance by affirming: I have heard the word, I am it, I do it now.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes, assume in the present tense that the inner commandment governs your life; speak the word softly in your own mouth and feel it real for five minutes, then act from that state.
