Inner Covenant Of Obedience
Deuteronomy 30:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse invites wholehearted listening to the inner voice of God and turning one's entire being toward that divine guidance.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the Neville ear, the LORD thy God is the I AM within you, the governing consciousness whose voice you hear as a feeling, a prompting, a gentle urge toward truth. 'If thou shalt hearken' becomes the art of paying attention to that inner signal and acting in harmony with its Law. 'To keep his commandments and his statutes' is not external rules but the sustained alignment of your inner state with love, integrity, and faith. When you listen and obey, you are not obeying an external statute but disciplining your imagination to hold a truth: you are already the state that the law describes. 'Turn unto the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul' means invest your entire feeling life, your desires, your will, into this inner direction. Covenant loyalty is inner fidelity: you persist in this alignment despite appearances, because you know the I AM cannot be separated from you. Your world responds to your inward state: as you assume the presence of this law within, your outer life reflects a 'law-kept' order, and you awaken to the land of fulfilled promise here and now.
Practice This Now
Assume the inward commandment now: I turn to You with all my heart and soul. Feel it-real by allowing that inner direction to govern one moment's decision today.
