Inner Return and Covenant
Deuteronomy 30:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Deuteronomy 30 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse frames a moment when blessing and curse are set before you and you remember them as you are driven among the nations.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the events named in this verse are not external judgments but shifts of your inner state. The blessing and the curse are two polar atmospheres your mind can assume. When you call them to mind among the nations, you are not surveying geography; you are becoming aware of how you have driven your I AM into exile by belief. The land promised is not a terra firma shut in by borders but the state of consciousness in which I AM rules your life without fear. Exile and return are inner movements: you feel separated from your own divinity, then you awaken and return to it. The commandment is not law only; it is alignment with your true Self. By choosing the blessing—the sense of abundance, harmony, and divine support—you set the course of your life toward home. Your accountability is simple: persist in the realized state or revise to the truth of I AM. In this moment, the promise is fulfilled wherever you stand—inside.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and assume you are already living in the blessing-state; feel the I AM guiding you home, and softly revise any sense of exile.
