Inner Spoil: Conquest Of Self

Deuteronomy 3:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 3 in context

Scripture Focus

6And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.
7But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.
Deuteronomy 3:6-7

Biblical Context

It records that they utterly destroyed the cities and their inhabitants, and then took cattle and spoil for themselves.

Neville's Inner Vision

Let this text be about the inner kingdom, not an outer account. 'Utterly destroying' becomes the inner act of dissolving a former state of consciousness that no longer serves you. The 'men, women, and children' are your old habits, fears, and identities; to destroy them is to refuse to let their memory drive your present. The 'cattle and the spoil' are the fruits of your new inner state, the energy and resources you now claim through the I AM that you are. By choosing to act from a completed state, you take the spoil as inner wealth to be used for the kingdom you now assert. Providence and guidance are your ongoing awareness, the steady impression you hold until it becomes your habitual life. The key is to revise the inner scene and feel it real: imagine the city cleared, feel the abundance of cattle and spoils as your own, and rest in the certainty that your imagined act is the only reality.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and assume the feeling of already having the state you desire; revise any lingering lack, visualize the inner city cleared, see the spoils as your inner wealth, and declare I AM present in this outcome.
