Charge Joshua Within: Inner Leadership

Deuteronomy 3:28 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 3 in context

Scripture Focus

28But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.
Deuteronomy 3:28

Biblical Context

Moses commands Joshua to be encouraged and strengthened as he goes before the people to lead them into the land he will see.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine Deuteronomy 3:28 as a map of your own inner terrain. The charge to Joshua becomes a charge to your conscious I AM: strengthen the feeling of courage, encourage the energy that moves you, and let the self you are know itself as the one who goes before. When you live from the assumption that you are already the leader of your own promised land, every step you take is preparation for the crossing. The land you seek is not somewhere distant but a state of awareness you enter by casting off fear and aligning with the idea that you have already inherited it. Your vocation, your witness, and your obedience are acts of inner loyalty to the I AM, the living presence that goes before you and makes a way. Keep your attention on the end: imagine the land as already yours, and repeatedly revise any sense of limitation until your inner Joshua stands firm and resolute.

Practice This Now

Act: Close your eyes, imagine Joshua as your empowered self leading you across, and feel the land already possessed. Then declare inwardly, I AM, and I go before my life now.
