Inner Greatness Revealed

Deuteronomy 3:23-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 3 in context

Scripture Focus

23And I besought the LORD at that time, saying,
24O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?
Deuteronomy 3:23-24

Biblical Context

Moses prays to the LORD, acknowledging His greatness and mighty hand. He wonders which god could do such works in heaven or earth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Deuteronomy 3:23-24, the I AM speaks in the language of a petition, but the real message is psychological. The LORD is not an external god but your own living awareness, and the 'greatness' and 'mighty hand' are the powers of consciousness at work in your world. When you read 'what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and thy mighty hand?' you hear an invitation to recognize that such works are done by your present state of mind. The verse says God has begun to show thy servant thy greatness; that is a moment of inner awakening—a shift from lack to the felt presence of power. You do not seek permission from outside; you consent to the fact that the I AM is already acting, and the miracle is simply your awareness becoming aware of itself. Allow the recognition to settle into your chest and spine; let your faith rest on the certainty that the inner God is producing visible effects in your life. The outward world then follows the inner decree as the echo of your established state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling that God has begun to reveal thy greatness within you. Rest in the I AM until that power feels real in your body.
