All Before the Lord: Inner Assembly

Deuteronomy 29:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 29 in context

Scripture Focus

10Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
11Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:
Deuteronomy 29:10-11

Biblical Context

The verse calls every segment of Israel—leaders, common soldiers, families, and even strangers—to stand together before God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Before the Lord your God is your I AM, the awareness that holds all of you. The captains, elders, and officers represent the ordered thoughts and duties by which you govern your inner world; the entire company stands as your total state. Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger symbolize tender, hidden aspects—impulses, memories, and potentials—present in your camp. They are not separate; when you acknowledge them, you invite the divine presence to dwell in your whole being. In Neville’s terms, God is the I AM; consciousness creates reality. When you hold the belief that every facet of self stands united, life reflects that harmony. The journey from scattering to covenant loyalty is an inner alignment, not a geographic gathering. The camp becomes your inner field, the stranger your unknown potential, and unity your persistent choice. Realize that this unity is a state you occupy, not a place you reach.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine your life as a camp where every part of you stands before the I AM. Then assume the unity of all parts and feel the I AM center.
