Where others read history, I read psychology. The verse says all the earth shall see you are named by the LORD, which is another way of saying your inner I AM bears the divine signature. When you inhabit the consciousness that you are one with God, separation dissolves and holiness becomes your habitual mood. The 'calling' is not external rite but an inner alignment that names you as agent of divine activity. The 'fear' of the nations then becomes reverent awe: not horror at possible punishment, but a recognition of the power that flows through a life wholly surrendered to the Presence. This awe arises as a natural consequence of imagining yourself as the channel through which God acts in the world. Your surroundings respond, not by changing others against their will, but by reflecting your settled identity. The invitation is covenant-like: dwell in the I AM, and the world will witness a transformation of appearances as your inner state asserts itself. The promise thus points to a practical discipline: insist on the truth of your divine being until it becomes your visible experience.
