9And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
10Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
11And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
12These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:

14And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
Deuteronomy 27:9-14

Biblical Context

Moses and the Levites declare that Israel has become God's people and must follow His commandments; blessings are pronounced for alignment, while curses mark misalignment, all announced publicly by the Levites.

Neville's Inner Vision

Today you stand as the people of the LORD thy God within your own consciousness. The instruction to hear and obey the voice of God reveals that you are already that which you seek to become—the Lord’s own. The mounts Gerizim and Ebal symbolize inner dispositions, not physical hills: one path of blessing through obedience and alignment, the other of limitation through resistance. The loud proclamation of the priests is a call to inner awareness: declare yourself as the one God calls His. The law becomes your inner commandment of attention—what you affirm in imagination, you manifest in experience. Therefore, adopt the stance: acknowledge you are already the people of the LORD thy God, and revise any sense of separation until your feeling-state matches that fact. Imagination supplies the instrument by which knowledge becomes lived reality. Through faithful obedience of the inner voice, you release blessings into your life, and the world responds to the new you.

Practice This Now

Assume the state: 'I am the people of the LORD my God, and I obey the voice of the LORD my God.' Feel it real now, and let that blessing move through your thoughts and actions.
