Inner Covenant Blessing Revealed

Deuteronomy 26:15-19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 26 in context

Scripture Focus

15Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
16This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
17Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
18And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;
19And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
Deuteronomy 26:15-19

Biblical Context

The verses ask God to bless the people and the land while demanding wholehearted obedience, loyalty to God, and holiness so they are exalted above the nations.

Neville's Inner Vision

Look within. The Lord you seek is not distant but the I AM that fills your awareness. When you hear blessing upon the land, translate land as the field of your own mind, nourished by the quality of your thoughts. The command to keep these statutes with all your heart becomes your unwavering decision to dwell in the state of fullness, to act from the conviction that you are governed by an inner law that cannot fail. By avouching the Lord this day to be thy God, you affirm that the inner governor of your life is the I AM, not fear or limitation. This makes you a peculiar people, a sanctified self set apart in consciousness, whose very nature exalts itself and speaks with praise, honor, and name above appearances. When you live from that inward allegiance, you walk in His ways, keeping His judgments as the felt reality of your daily experience. Thus you rise—high above the nations of lack and limitation—into a life that is holy to the I AM and unmistakably yours to claim.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM as your God and feel it real now: I am the blessed land, I dwell in fullness. Act from that frame in every moment today.
