Grapes of the Neighbor's Vineyard

Deuteronomy 23:24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 23 in context

Scripture Focus

24When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
Deuteronomy 23:24

Biblical Context

You may eat grapes in your neighbor's vineyard to your fill, but you must not put any into a vessel to carry away.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your neighbor's vineyard is a state of consciousness other than your own. You may freely taste the fruit of that state in your awareness without claiming it as yours or hoarding it. This teaches reverence for the rights of others while revealing that nourishment is available within your own I AM. When you enter another's vineyard, imagine you are entering a space of possibility; enjoy its fruit, then return to your own inner abundance, keeping your vessel empty so you do not seize what isn't yours. The law prompts love, generosity, and faithful use of whatever comes through awareness, reminding you that true possession lies in conscious being, not in external abundance.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes, enter your neighbor's vineyard in imagination, taste the grapes and feel abundance. Then revise by affirming: I AM full, and all I need is within me.
