Inner Tokens of Truth
Deuteronomy 22:15-17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
A father and mother present tokens of virginity to the elders; the husband accuses the daughter of not being maid, and the council exposes the tokens before judgment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Here the outer ceremony is a mirror of your inner state. The damsel stands not as a girl but as your inherent worth, and the tokens are the evidences you have already accepted about yourself. The father and mother are your social self, bringing your beliefs to the 'elders'—your higher I AM, your quiet awareness. The husband’s accusation is the fear that your life is not what you proclaimed, a fear that seeks proof in appearances. When the elders spread the cloth, they are exposing your present interpretation to the light of consciousness. Neville would say: the scene is not about a crime; it is about your mind testing its own definitions. Until you accept a new assumption, you will keep seeing tokens that seem to confirm an old story. Yet you are not the report; you are the I AM that can revise it. By imagining, you place yourself inside the state where you already know your value, and the tokens become evidence of that inner truth.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, imagine the tokens of your inner worth already in your possession, presented to your higher self and affirmed. Revise the scene with the feeling that you are the I AM, unmarred by accusation, and let that certainty rewrite your reality.
