Inner Passage Through Seir
Deuteronomy 2:4-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Deuteronomy 2:4-6 instructs Israel to pass through Esau’s territory, avoid meddling, and rely on purchase for sustenance; the land is given to Esau.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider the coast of Seir as the boundary of old conditions within you—the stubborn habit, the fear you call neighbor. You are commanded to pass through, not to conquer or meddle, for the land belongs to Esau, your former sense of limitation. In Neville’s terms, states of consciousness are territories and the I AM is your true governor. As you pass through, you do not attack the land; you observe and hold your center, knowing you are not dependent on the Esau's supply to define you. The instruction to buy meat and water with money translates to nourishing yourself by faith and disciplined thought rather than by force of circumstance. Your needs are met in consciousness; you can feed and hydrate your being with images and assumptions that reflect abundance. The fear and resistance you sense from the outside world vanish as you realize the outer is only a symbol of your inner stand. You are already there, because you are the I AM, and your inner decree secures the path.
Practice This Now
Imaginatively assume you are already crossing Seir within. Repeat I AM and feel you are nourished and protected as you move, buying your sustenance from the treasury of faith.
