Inner Boundaries, Delivered Victory

Deuteronomy 2:36-37 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 2 in context

Scripture Focus

36From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:
37Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.
Deuteronomy 2:36-37

Biblical Context

The text declares that God delivers every land to Israel, with clear boundaries about where not to enter. It invites trust that obedience aligns your inner state with external reality.

Neville's Inner Vision

This is the psychology of possession: the I AM, your constant awareness, delivers all the land your consciousness can hold. Aroer and Gilead mark the reaches of your inner empire; the 'forbidden' lands are simply thoughts you have not consented to as real in your present state. When you imagine, you are not moving through geography but through sentiment and habitual belief. If a circle of fear or lack appears, see it as a boundary your consciousness has drawn, and without struggle revise it by assuming the opposite is already true. The verse teaches obedience—not to an external law but to an inner alignment: acknowledge what has already been given by feeling it real, and let the rest fall away as you comply with the invisible compass of the I AM. In that posture, every city becomes manageable and every delivery complete, for God has entrusted your inner land to your faithful, single-command belief.

Practice This Now

Assume the land is already delivered to you and feel the relief of possession. Revise any boundary belief by declaring it resolved in your present I AM.
