Biblical Context
God promises territorial enlargement if you keep His commandments and love Him; if you do, you will add three cities of refuge to your land, preserving innocence and preventing bloodshed.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the I AM in you, this is not geography but a map of your inner state. When you, the I AM, choose to love the Lord thy God and walk in His ways, you invite enlargement of your coast. You do not seek to gain by force; you keep the commandments as inner laws of consciousness, and your life shifts as if a new land had been promised into being by your fidelity of feeling. The three cities of refuge are three points of mental refuge you create by imagination: places in consciousness where guilt cannot reach you, where you may rearrange events, release harm, and hold innocence safe. The reminder against shedding innocent blood becomes a law you live by in awareness—your thoughts, words, and choices no longer invite harm into your inheritance. Thus the verse is really about the inner architecture that makes outer expansion possible: a disciplined, loving state of being that builds safe, inner havens while you travel outward.
Practice This Now
Practice: In the moment, close your eyes, declare 'I AM expansion now,' and feel as if your awareness has grown. Then imagine three inner refuges—places in your mind where you protect innocence and forgive any guilt, keeping your inheritance intact.
